Holiday Magic, the popular and family-friendly weekend show, returns to the America’s Center convention complex (November 23-25, 2012)!

Brian Hall, Chief Marketing Officer for the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission said “We are excited about holding St. Louis Holiday Magic on Thanksgiving weekend because the show really gives families a great alternative. It also allows more people traveling to St. Louis for extended visits with family and friends the opportunity to experience our fun, affordable and always evolving holiday extravaganza.”

As a Christmas in St. Louis Partner, the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission’s Holiday Magic team will once again participate in this year’s parade spreading good cheer aboard the Holiday Magic Express. Photo opportunity alert! Be on the lookout for the Holiday Magic mascot, Snowflake (aka Frosty). The friendly snowman is always happy to stop and take a quick picture along the parade route.

On Friday, November 16th, the Macy’s Festival of Lights kicks off the yuletide season with lighting of the huge Christmas tree in Kiener Plaza, Holiday characters, fireworks, giveaways and more! Celebrating its 28th year, the 2012 Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 22nd from the corner of Washington Avenue and Fourth Street in downtown St. Louis. The parade will proceed from Fourth Street to Market and end at 10th and Market.
